Golf in the Zillertal Valley
Nestling in the lush meadows of the Zillertal Valley at around 550 metres above sea level is the Golfclub Zillertal. Despite the high mountains all around, this 18-hole championship course in the village of Uderns has been sculpted on a flat area of land to make it suitable for both beginners and experienced golfers.
Highlights include not only the fantastic views of the surrounding landscape but also a number of covered tees on the edge of the driving range, a special area to practise chipping and putting, and a PGA-approved golf school with a large separate practice area. The 18-hole championship is one of the Leading Courses of Austria. Play is possible from May until November.
