With pistes between 630 to 3,250 metres above sea level, a comprehensive network of environmentally friendly snowmaking machines and clever techniques for moving and preserving snow, the Zillertal Valley is one of the most snowsure destinations in the region. A total of 75% of all pistes in the valley can be covered with artificial snow if necessary. The valley is also home to the only ski resort in Austria open 365 days a year, the Hintertux Glacier.
